TickeyBox is a Cape Town-based startup building a safer first phone for kids - one that gives children independence without the internet and parents complete peace of mind. The product is a retro landline-style VoIP phone designed specifically for households who want their kids to stay connected to family and friends, without the risks that come with smartphones and open internet access. Parents control everything: who their child can call, who can call them and when the phone is active and Tickey-to-Tickey phone calls are free.  We're a small, passionate founding team working on something we believe is genuinely needed.
